Teachers' Blues

My former student, now a responsible official, forwarded an email that resonates with many fond memories. Have my students been so misundertood? Have we teachers been so insensitive to our students' needs? I hope you enjoy reading it, and reflect.

TEACHER:Why are you late?
WEBSTER:Because of the sign.
TEACHER:What sign?
WEBSTER:The one that says, "School Ahead, Go Slow."
